Canon Inc., a world-renowned Japanese multinational company for the production and marketing of various imaging and optical products, has shifted from the digital single lens reflex (DSLR) to the mirrorless camera to advance the photography industry from film cameras to digital technology. In an interview with the Japanese daily Yomiuri Shimbun, Canon chief Fujio Mitarai conveyed such information. The EOS-1DX Mark 3 will be Canon's last 'top-end' DSLR camera. At least for those of who want more quality images and lenses than smartphones, (for them) mirrorless cameras are the future options. Although Canon's move after Sony is not unexpected, the tech site Senate has commented that it is an important moment in the history of camera technology. In mirrorless technology the light falls directly on the sensor. And you can take pictures by looking at the electronic view finder or by looking at the display on the back of the camera. In the era of the film camera, Japanese company Canon solidified its position in camera production with EOS line single-lens reflex (SLR) cameras. The 'reflex' mirrors reflect light and send it to the viewfinder while taking pictures. In case of the the film camera, the mirrors would move and the light would make room to fall in the film. DSLR cameras work in the same process. The only difference is that the image sensor is there in place of the film.
